Our Sleep & Pilates workshop is designed for Mamas-to-be. Hosted by specialists in the field, Certified Holistic Pregnancy & Child Sleep Practitioner, Marise Hyman and specialist Pregnancy Pilates Teacher Clare Marie Trono -we have teamed up to to offer you an educational workshop that explores both sleep and movement that can enhance your pregnancy experience.

From the moment a woman becomes pregnant, her body is undergoing many physiologic and biochemical changes. As a result the potential for sleep disturbances increases. With so many physical and emotional changes, it’s no surprise that 8 out of 10 women have insomnia and other sleep problems during pregnancy. Very little support or education exists anywhere to support families with sleep challenges during pregnancy and the newborn stage, even though sleep disorders developed during pregnancy can also lead to sleep disorders in the child.
As a Certified Holistic Pregnancy & Child Sleep Practitioner, Marise Hyman brings expecting mamas a breath of fresh air as she delves into the ins and outs of enhancing and optimising Sleep during pregnancy in this Workshop. She is very passionate about this subject as it can provide families with such far-reaching benefits when Healthy Sleep Foundations are implemented already during pregnancy. When a mama-to-be nurtures her own sleep during pregnancy, she gains a deeper understanding of how the body naturally functions around sleep, which in turn has a profound impact on a family’s experience after birth. Working proactively with Sleep during pregnancy, even before sleep challenges arise, is ideal and will have a positive impact on the already developing circadian rhythm of your baby in the womb.
You can then join Clare Marie on the mat to balance both your body and mind. The pregnant body undergoes so many changes physically, mentally and hormonally. Pilates not only helps to address and re-balance the postural changes that occur in the body but it also helps to calm the mind too. Pilates is one of the safest to do during pregnancy and is completely adaptable for all stages of your pregnancy.

Clare Marie Trono
Originally from South Wales, Clare has been living and running her own business in Luxembourg since 2012.
Self professed Pilates Geek, Clare has been passionate about the Pilates method since she discovered it in a Vocal Masterclass aged 17. Since then she has been interested in exploring how the body works, functional movement and the quest for holistic well-being.
Pre & Post Pregnancy Pilates classes with Clare Marie are designed and adapted for you at each stage of pregnancy and after birth. Clare Marie has qualified specifically for this and holds a Level 3 Pre & Post Pregnancy qualification which has empowered her with the knowledge to design suitable classes for pregnant ladies and new mothers. There are many benefits to exercising throughout your pregnancy which extend to after your beautiful little baby has entered the world.

Through evidence based training, the International Maternity and Parenting Institute™ (IMPI) represented in over 42 countries, provides the world's most progressive and holistic education for birth & postpartum professionals.
She is an IMPI Holistic Pregnancy & Child Sleep Practitioner, Happiest Baby on the Block Educator, IMPI Peri-natal Coach/Educator, soon-to-be “Becoming Us” Facilitator and provides Worldwide, Holistically minded and heart-centered Coaching and Education for expecting and new families on Sleep and Planning for the Life Change a Baby brings through Marise Hyman Maternity Coaching.
